Poured a brown body with minimal head and very little lace. The aroma is strong and comprised of this dry, roasted malt (almost toasted or burnt) along with hints of dates (they are a key ingredient). Rather medium to full bodied with slight stickiness at times but this beer is muddled and never comes together as the roasted malt flavor overtakes everything and there is no balance with other flavors (caramel/toffee and dates) hardly noticeable.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
