12 oz. Can
Pours a pretty nice clean/clear golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which also leaves nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, with some citrus, slight spice. The taste is malty, slight citrus/spice, slight sweetness. Medium body. Overall, a nice thirst quencher.

this was my least favorite and also the most generic of the beers i had from roaring fork. its a pale lager, with mostly pils and pale two row malt, fresh, but under carbonated (which i cant stand in a blonde lager), and with a little more body and sweetness in it than the style usually calls for, although it doesnt seem like a flaw here and the beer tastes fresh and very good. something really unflattering about a beer in a pint glass all the way up to the rim with liquid from a tap without any head at all, i hate that. its a turnoff right from the get go, but the flavor of the beer is nice, big enough in body for winter too, although im not sure that would stand up to higher carbonation. i preferred the freestone extra pale and the street cred red from these guys, but i didnt mind this one on the whole. i look forward to visiting the brewery eventually.
