The World is Flat is intended to satisfy those who desire something other. Unlike anything else in our portfolio, this beer sits squarely between a crisp lager and juicy IPA and bears notes of biscuit, cantaloupe and orange flower honey. Formerly draft-only, it became a sleeper hit at the brewery, as well as at restaurants around the city.
This beer manifests a contrarian point of view, forgoing extremes in favor of graceful balance. An undeniable team favorite we're excited to offer for the first time in cans this year.

Can from the brewery in Brooklyn. Pours an opaque dark amber with a finger of creamy head, decent lacing, smell is sour wheat, doughy malts, and a hint of grass, taste is sweet toasted caramel malts, sourdough bread crust, honey, wheat, hints of orange blossom, mild grassy finish, feel is light to medium bodied with vibrant carbonation. The way beer should taste, sweet, rustic, mild bitterness, I could drink this for days. Yum!

This one pours a light amber-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like floral tea, crispy biscuits, grassiness, and orange peel.
I wish I could drink this all the time, it really feels like the platonic ideal of a British session beer. I wish I could try it on cask or something. It’s lightly fruity, with a touch of spicy and floral hop character, with a pleasantly supportive little malt backbone that reminds me of biscuits, maybe since I have Britain on my mind.
This is light bodied, but not thin, and eminently drinkable.
This would fit squarely in with a charming little English pub in the countryside.

Deep, amber color. Nice, white head. Biscuits, malt, and minerals in the aroma. Malt-forward taste with decent bitterness at the end. A good example of a hard-to-find style.

Bright yellow bew with plenty of foam in the Saxo Belgian wine glass. It's got everything! Malt, herbs, butter, roasted grain, and a hint of pears. Aromas of cereal, alfalfa, warm straw, bread, and a hint of butterscotch.
I had to refresh my memory on English styles while I was refreshing my gullet (but let's exclude Real Ales, which this is almost entirely unlike). This pale ale style is kind of a hodge podge so apparently good intentions count. Overall this is quite quaffable and a pleasant alternative to the Pilsner-like brews that are so common lately. Actually this I would just call it a really good Blonde ale. From the 16 oz can shipped to the West Coast. Canned on 11/24/20.

On tap at 3rd Avenue Alehouse, NYC.
Pours a clear golden color with a hint of amber. A thin head head quickly dissipates.
The aroma opens with fruity and floral hops, bright and with mild hints of citrus. After that, the malt aromas take over with notes of bread, biscuit and a toffee like sweetness.
Bready malt flavors, with a touch of caramel, provide a touch of sweetness, however, the palate is mostly dry. Well hopped with an easy going and clean bitterness, along with floral and earthy spicy flavors. Well balanced, yet slightly favoring the hops bitterness.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel and mellow carbonation good for the English style. Crisp and dry finish keeps things drinkable.
A very sessionable brew and a good American interpretation of an English style.
