Mahogany color. Thin head that quickly dissipated. Raisins, vanilla, malt, dried fruits, and bourbon and in the aroma. Sweet, malty taste with notes of wood at the end

Tall can, 12/13/17 ?, stamp is a bit smudged.....purchased at the outpost location in Brooklyn, NY
Side note...gotta love an 11% barley wine in a can!
Pours medium brown, under a mocha mini cap that leaves a thicker film, fine bubble film and then some strands and bits of lacing.
Nose is loaded up with sweet malts, vanilla, maple and honey
On the palate is a similar story, waves of heady, malty goodness.....honey, maple, vanilla...this is a malted up barley bomb, smooth and tasty...well crafted and quite enjoyable, high quality night capper/sipper
