From a can bought at their Moynihan Train Hall location. In the glass, it is a clear amber with a quickly dissipating head. Very light carbonation as seen with lazy bubbles traversing up the glass. As for the smell, it is mild with hints of honey and citrus. The taste is where this beer shines. You are met immediately with a very sweet caramel and toffee malt profile. Second, you have the traditional black tea-like and earthy Fuggle and First Gold hops. The yeast profile also lends itself towards the traditional fruity esters associated with the style. Although sweet, it finishes toward the drier side and immediately beckons another sip. The ESB is my favorite style. I have searched high and low for anything comparable to Fuller's ESB, the benchmark of the style. This is the only beer I have ever had that comes close. The only thing missing is the higher body that is allowed through a 5.9 ABV as opposed to this beer's 4.7 (Beer Advocate lists an incorrect ABV). If you are a fan of ESB's, this is a must try.

Cancan from the brewery in Brooklyn. Pours a slight cloudy amber with a finger of creamy off white head that dissipates, nice lacing, smell is focaccia, honey, wheat bread, light caramel, taste is toasted nutty brown bread, honey, caramel, mild grassy twang on the finish, feel is light bodied, mild carbonation. A chewy, toasty, malty treat.
