Pouring a glorious orange hue, notes of dried herbs and golden crust shine through thanks to 100% German ingredients, like German Vienna Malt and German Spalter Select Hops. An extra smooth, balanced lager that clocks in at 5.5%, marginally stronger than most of our lagers, it stands up to colder autumn weather – and enhances autumn fun. We take pride in making our bars community gathering spaces, and Oktoberfest is a beer style that brings this ethos full circle. Crack open a can and toast with your crew. Prost!

Canned on 7/23/25; consumed on 11/20/25
Pours a foggy, honey-gold body topped with a finger and a half of slightly off-white foam; mediocre head retention leaves a paper-thin layer of cap, modest, frothy collar, and respectable array of soapy, webby lacing spread around the walls of the glass. 3.25
Aroma toasted honeycomb, white bread, level florality, gentle malty quality, air of straw 4
Taste fruity esters, toasted honeycomb, backing minerality, florality appears toward the back end, wildflower honey fades 3.75
Mouthfeel medium-light body, modest carbonation, choppy spritz disperses, crisp, drying past the mid-palate, 3.5
Rustic edge meets heavily honeyed wafts 3.75

Pours a frothy foamy 1 finger head with moderate retention, spotty lacing, clear honey blond color
Nose brings light malts, almost wheat like, fruity floral hops, and fruity cereal like Fruity Pebbles, lemony and a bit grassy
Taste brings more of the fruity cereal, a bit doughy and plenty of pale like malt, doughy bread, straw and grassy like, floral grassy hops, a little honey malt, more lemony characters, lemongrass, semi dry finish
Mouth is lighter bod, med to a bit higher carb
Overall OK, not really a festbier, more like maybe a Maibock or weizen like style, but enjoyable nonetheless

Mostly clear orange tinted, golden body, full cream colored head that settles into a finger’s worth. Aromas of lager malt, soft grain, fresh white loaf, grassy hops. Taste is all of that smashed into one with an orange note on the finish that is pleasant though not as distinct. Feel has a little bit more bitters, but doesn’t take away from the yeast starring with malt backbone right behind.

Pours a cloudy, earthy orange; light head and little retention. Nose is yeasty and herbal, some barrel and oak notes as well, curiously. Taste is honey and caramel, even a bit of maple, lightly sour and wheat notes. As it warms, more light, spicy hop notes come through which provide some balance. Carbonation is light with a slightly greasy feel. Overall, found this one disappointing, but give the 2024 version a go when it appears.

Sampling a chilled 16 oz can poured into my .5L dimple mug. Date stamp is canned 9/01/2023.
The beer was purchased at the Three's outpost in the Moynihan train station at NYC.
The beer pours a bright clear golden amber color. Definitely on the lighter side, but fitting for a festbier. A dense fizzy bleached white head of 1 cm foams up from the pour. This foam fades to a thin edging soon after the pour and remains throughout sampling. Scattered wispy lacing when I take a sip or swirl the glass. There are several slow very fine streams of carbonation rising to the surface.
Aroma is very mild with some bready crust and biscuit and faint hints of floral honey. Not a very robust nose, and no hint of ABV anywhere.
First sip reveals a medium body with very smooth texture and fine barely tingly carbonation. Beer drinks very easy on the physical traits.
Flavor is also pretty mild, I get some bread and again a bit of honey sweetness, makes me think a little of honey toast. Finish is very dry with a bit of a spicy hop bite. there is a little bitterness that lingers, but overall flavor is mild.
The beer is fine by me, I wish there was a little more to the nose and flavor profile in terms of "umph" but its okay for the style.
