16 ounce can poured into a tumbler style pint glass.
It pours almost clear and very pale yellow with loads of fast-rising bubbles replenishing a large soapy white head. The light aromas of spicy hops and bread malt mostly disappear with the head. Taste is dry and hop forward, light herbal hops, toast and a hint of grapefruit peel. Bitterness is moderate but remains to the finish as malt the flavor fades. Mouthfeel is light and crisp with good carbonation. Overall, OK but it seems just a step above most macro lagers. It is worth noting that while the can reads AMERICAN LAGER it is rather thin and drinks like a Light Lager.
