Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a copper color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of bready malts. Taste is bready malts, grassy hops. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall this is a pretty good beer.

On draught.
Pours up a clear but dark golden brown, head is decent but doesn’t last. The lacing kind of fades about half way down the glass.
Initial taste is not bad, but doesn’t quite check all the boxes to be a traditional Marzen. Maltiness is a bit weak, and the bite on the finish throws the experience off.

12 ounce can poured into a dimpled mug.
Canned 8/25/21
It pours clear, is colored amber with an orange hue and has one finger of fairly persistent, tight khaki foam on top.
At the pour I get a whiff of sweet bread after which the nose weakens giving off a clean zesty hop aroma that has notes of orange as the mug warms. Taste is sharp and hoppy with a weak malt profile and only hints of grainy malt flavor. Hop flavor opens with light citrus zest but is grassy at times. Mild bitterness builds to the finish. As it warms I get some new world hop fruity flavor. The medium light body is highly carbonated and very crisp, allowing for only a short softer/frothy feel in the middle.
Too sharp and unbalanced for me and misses on traditional flavors.
