Very pale golden, clear, with a sustaining fluffy white head. Nose has a bit of spice and bare hints of cracker. Crackery opening with a mildly aggressive carbonated feel. This has a light body and mild mineral and lightly dirty grass bitterness that mostly defines the late taste. A fair beer that does evoke a thought of some of the lighter imports I’ve tried.

Nebraska Pils has a medium, stark-white head, with a somewhat hazy, very pale straw appearance, and sheet lacing. The aroma is of white bread. The flavor is of sweet, white bread, a touch of lemon, and grassy hop bitterness. Nebraska Pils has a light-to-medium body and a crisp finish.

My good friend and old neighbor from Oswego gave me a can of this beer. It poured a slightly hazy yellow with very very thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had sharp grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

Poured from a can into a tall tap glass.

Pours straw gold and just slightly chill-hazed with an excellent two-fingered head and lacing.

The aromas are fairly pronounced for the style. Light sweet malts meet stout grain, cracker, grass, and floral notes.

The brew presents some fairly strong grainy notes on the tip of the tongue. Sweeter malts at the mid-palate manifest with crackery flavors, joined by grass and earth. Fairly grainy and bitter for the style.

The brew has a fuller body than is typical for the style, although it isn't heavy by any means. Well-carbonated, at least, it has a decent finish.

This brew is just "ok" for me, particularly when rated to style. It is pretty drinkable, and doesn't shy away from delivering flavor, but it is somewhat harsh on the graininess.

Hmmm...not good. Disappointing, especially compared to the other reviews here. Thin straw-colored yellow color, no lasting head or lacing. Smells of grain, malt and corn. Tastes similarly. Not that bad, just lacks depth and complexity. Thin mouthfeel with good carbonation. It's decent enough, I just won't buy it again and would go with any number of other better beers in this style.

Pours extremely light yellow color with a tall, foamy head and good, sticky lacing.

The smell is grainy, bready, and earthy.

The taste is light and a bit thin. Some floral, very bright, and a little hoppy.

The mouthfeel is a bit thin and slightly fizzy.

Overall a bit short on flavor but very light and easy to drink.

Look: It pours straw with a white head that has moderate head retention. The beer is very clear.

Smell: It has grainy sweet aromas with slight cracker. There are also some flower notes. There is a hint of winy aroma.

Taste: It has a grainy sweet flavor with a combination of floral and herbal elements. The bitterness is moderately high overall.

Feel: It has a moderate body with a long lasting dry aftertaste.

Overall, there is a good balance between the grainy sweetness and bitterness of the hops with pleasant floral and herbal flavors and a dry finish.

Nose has a slight alcohol note but the the taste recovers. Nice wheaty taste with an excellently light hop balance. Lots of flavor but maintains the low harshness of a pils. Great warm weather drink.

12 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 2/14/2017. Pours slightly hazy pale golden/straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. A bit fruity/yeasty, but not overwhelming. Taste of cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Touch of hop astringency near the end of the glass, but not overwhelming. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is a very nice Czech pilsener style! All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very well balanced and flavorful for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
