Mixed fermentation sour beer, NOT an IPA. Starts off grassy and a tad hoppy, but a funky, breadlines in aroma and after taste. Buckwheat, rice taste after the grassiness subsides.

This is an IPA made with matcha and (I am 90% sure I heard this correctly) blue algae. One bartender described it as 'butthole beer'; the other said it was like dirty socks.

I'd say rotten oranges and salt, personally.

It looks fine, cloudy for an IPA. Smells like a mild Gose. And then, man, that taste. After the gag reflex subsides you're left with the taste of sweet, stale sweat.

I don't know who this beer would appeal to.

I'm going to finish it because I've paid for it and I'm pathologically cheap but I'll be frowning throughout.

Avoid.
