Our Bohemian Girl brand is a tribute to that same spirit of wanderlust and appreciation for nature that brings us all to the Rocky Mountains. To recreate this classic Denver brand, we combined Premium Pilsner and Rye Malt with generous portions of Czech Saaz hops. The end result is a light-bodied, dry, crisp golden lager with an aroma reminiscent of freshly baked bread and floral finish.

Appearance: Pours a near clear, light yellow-hued body. Smallish, loose, white head.

Smell: A modest, crack dough nose with some very light, distant herbal hints.

Taste: More cracker dough given a good cleansing glug of tap water. Ultra light lemon, herb. Nominally bitter. Fairy dry, thinning finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.

Overall: A purported pilsner with fully realized ambitions of being a light lager.

Had at the brewery, but theyustve been sold out since I saw the bartender pour out of a couple cans.

On arrival 2 fingers of white, mostly fine, but slightly fizzy head were present. Slow dissipation leaves some decent lacing. Nice. Body is a bit hazy however with fine carbonation.

Aroma is alright, I just want more malt to come through. I mostly get noble hops coming through with a light fermentation note followed up by a sweet light doughy malt.

Taste essentially follows the aroma but the hops come through even more with a big bitterness some spicy character but also some fruity notes. Again the malt feels a bit dull and comes through mostly as dough. A twinge of lager fermentation is present but it tastes a bit warm fermented.

Feel is good and full. This is pretty hearty for a pilsner but carbonation is high and the beer itself is pretty crisp. Malty feeling longer finish.

Overall this feels lime some weird American craft bastardization of a pilsner that was dialed back severely, leaving it in a weird purgatory of wanting to be an American and a German pilsner at the same time. Also it's just not malty enough.
