Crowler canned on 2/17/23; consumed on 3/2/23
Pours a turbid, glossy, dark golden orange body capped with three fingers of thick, creamy, white cap; good head retention leaves a half-finger of mounded cap, moderate, frothy collar, and a comprehensive walling of chunky, webby lacing plastered across the walls of the glass.
Aroma shows THC-soaked sticky mandarin, pink grapefruit, and blood orange upfront, with a healthy amalgam of tropical bubblegum expressing mango pith, passionfruit, and key lime zest evolving over the bouquet as notes of green strawberry and bready malt underpinnings trickle through; ripe and raw.
Taste brings orange juice and freshly squeezed grapefruit upfront, accented with an air of dank and subtler passionfruit zest over the mid-palate as bready malt undertones meet chalky grass and mango pith lingering through the back end.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-full body and a rounded fluff of moderate carbonation, with prickly resins proposing an underlying creaminess over the mid-palate as a semi-bitterness contrasts juicy zest on the back end and a mild twang fades through the finish.
Choppy indulgence invokes a blatant resinous overload, with chalky, raw hop texture defining a blunt profile simultaneously unrefined yet wholly engaging; purely earthy boisterously detailed.
