Not too many ESB style's being produced in Brazil, so it was refreshing to find this change of pace at Haus München. Out of a 600 ml bottle, on to the beer:
Similar to the name, this beer has a rub red color. The head forms small on top, and even the retention is okay. I smell buttered popcorn and a bit of caramel, although the aroma as a whole doesn'tbring much firepower. The taste follows suit; the overall flavor is light for an ESB, however it has the notes common of the style. It has the diacetyl, dry biscuit, cramel, kiss of tea-like hops, and is a medium bodied beer. It was a good break from the wheat-based beers I drank earlier in the day.
