In the 1950’s the original Hammerton of old was famous for their Oatmeal Stout, so we thought we would pay homage to this and brew our modern take on this famous stout. This is a proper, London rooted Stout, that brings you back to a simpler time of the industrial revolution. With a recipe using the same malts as our ever popular Pentonville stout. Penton pours jet black with a light brown head. With aromas of dry chocolate and roasted malts. On the pallet roasted malt, a hint of coffee and bitter chocolate flavours.

Brewed with fresh wild oysters. Pours black with a small beige head. Aromas is of oyster & malted oat hops. Tastes of oysters as well as coffee, oats, caramel & toffee with a dry malty aftertaste. This one I enjoyed.
