Organic Pilsner is a full-flavoured German lager crafted with traditional ingredients. This brilliantly, light golden beer features a long lasting white head. French Strisselspalt & German Hersbrucker hops provide classic noble hop aroma – a delicate balance of floral, spicy, herbal and subtle citrus notes. The finish is crisp and malty with just enough bitterness to entice you to take another sip.

Pours hazy gold with a frothy, long lasting head. Grassy, bready, rye, maple syrup in the nose. The taste is malt forward with bready and grainy notes and a touch of vegetal DMS. Leafy, sea air hops and moderate bitterness provide some balance. The mouthfeel is full bodied with moderate carbonation. Light bitterness and residual malt sweetness in the finish.
A bit stayed in the hops department and some veggies too. Still drinkable but not worth trying again.

473 mL can from the LCBO; coded Jun 8 2020 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a bright, clear golden-yellow colour, capped off with nearly two inches of soapy, foamy white head that recedes over the next five-plus minutes. A thin collar and smooth cap are the eventual remnants, with multiple swaths of messy lace flung about as well; looks excellent in the glass. Cereal grains and bready, doughy malt sweetness on the nose, with just a hint of grassy hay. Smells a little sweet for a pils.
A decent, unremarkable take on a Euro lager. I'm getting grainy malts and bready sweetness on the forefront, followed up by cereal sugars and then a grassy, subtly floral hop bitterness nearer the finish; more cereal grain sweetness lingers briefly into the aftertaste. Light-medium in body, with moderate carbonation levels that gently prickle the palate, giving just a little bit of crispness to its otherwise smooth mouthfeel. Its drinkability is through the roof.
Final Grade: 3.57, a B grade. Mill Street's Organic Pilsner isn't necessarily an amazing pilsener, but it is a serviceable one that I've enjoyed on more than a few occasions since its revival earlier this year. It's definitely better than their flagship Organic Lager... and for that matter, also considerably better than Molson's Old Style Pils - but it also costs 50% more than the latter, so I'd say that last one's a wash. Worth a try.

Poured into a pilsner glass from a can bought at the LCBO.
First of all, I love the can which clearly pays homage to this vintage Canadian brew:
https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/433/5285/
This pours a golden straw body with a large, fluffy white head that retains well. Smells like fresh-cut grass with a bit of bready malt. Tastes bready with hint of lemon and, surprisingly, a strong malt alcohol kick. An overall underwhelming flavour profile.
This is a good beer, I want to make that clear. However, it's not special. Here's the thing -- I can't justify paying $3.35 for this pilsner when I can buy a Jever or a Wernesgruner for under $2.25 unless it's substantially better, and it's not.
I guess I'm still waiting for the great Canadian Pilsner.

Pours a nice golden colour with a fair sized creamy head. The smell is grainy and slightly metallic. The taste is a bit hoppy a bit biscuity and not much else. Other than the appearance, everything about this beer is ordinary. This surprises me because I’m a big fan of Mill Street beers.

A great micro light beer. Far superior to macro lights. Very light hop taste, with a grassy aroma, balanced carbonation, and very refreshing finish. If you drink "the leading light beer", you'll find this too "beery" tasting (which should tell how bad "the leading light beer" is!) but everyone else, a nice clean crisp beer when you want a break from other full flavored beers. Especially great summer beer. One of my go to beers as well.

Unique brew that is a bit one sided, but nonetheless another hit for Mill St. Brewery. Light golden colour and light carbonation, hints of herbs and earth, and a touch of hops. Very light taste overall, and not much else to say. Reminds me of many "ultra light" beers I have had. Nifty bottle to boot. Worth a try.

Bought in the "minni miller" bottles...cute packaging will win over any "organics" freak that drinks beer....poured a pale straw with a smallish head that rings out quickly....virtually no odor except slight wisps of boiled grain..low carbonation...looked flat. Front side was watery with no pilsner stab of saaz hop...weak malt accented body,...finished fast with a slight bread after taste...looks flat ...tastes flat...dont get a flat.
