473 ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase for $3.50 CDN.
Appearance- Reasonably hazy light golden / orange colored brew. A finger plus of fluffy white head rests on top. Some spotty lacing clings to the edges of the glass.
Smell - Some tropical notes, more mango, guava and melon than anything. Not a terribly robust nose.
Taste - Lots of mango, some bitterness afterwards as it's not all sweet. Balanced with grapefruit and then cantaloupe but rather mango forward. A hint of pepper and spiciness at the end.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, heavier than expected for a sub 5% ABV beer. Carbonation is middling and finish is pretty juicy with just the slightest drying sensation.
Overall - Decent mango forward IPA, but a bit of a heavier feel makes this a little less refreshing than it otherwise should be.

473 mL can from the LCBO, one of six different brews included in their new Essentials Pack. Of those six, this is the only one that isn't explicitly labelled as 'organic'. Coded Mar 25 2021 and served barely chilled.
Pours a hazy yellow hue, producing more than a finger of soapy, foamy white head that seeps off within a matter of minutes. It leaves behind a decent sized collar of froth, as well as a modest band of sticky lacing - looks more or less the same as the last edition of H&C. Lemon-lime citrus on the nose, as well as notes of apricot, pineapple juice, berries and grapefruit.
Nothing spectacular, but I rather like this one for what it is. I'm getting hints of wheaty grain underneath hoppier flavours of stone fruit, mandarin orange and something like mango, or maybe cantaloupe. More mushy tropical/stone fruit before the finish, which has a little bit of pithy bitterness, which dissipates into a mildly fruity, grainy aftertaste that doesn't linger for long. Light-medium in body, with moderate carbonation levels that generate a little bit of a bite; feels smooth and a little fluffy on the palate. Great drinkability, as you'd expect from a session IPA.
Final Grade: 3.82, a B+. Like the two previous Hopped & Confused beers, Vol. 3 is a perfectly serviceable session IPA that I enjoyed, at least to a certain extent. By that, I mean that while 'IPA lite' is not a style that tends to amaze me, I don't think there's anything wrong with this one - it's mostly fruity, with a little bit of bitterness at the tail end of the sip, and quite refreshing at just under 5%. I'd drink it again, and I certainly wouldn't discourage others from trying it... I'm just not in a hurry for more.

Pours hazy, gold, with a 2cm head atop. The smell is a muted hop and citrus mixture. The taste is also a lite version of a good IPA. But that is what this beer is intended to be so I’m good with that.
