473 mL can from the LCBO; coded May 25 2021 and served slightly chilled.
Pours brilliant and clear, its purplish-fuchsia coloured body crowned with nearly an inch of puffy, foamy, light pink-tinged head. It recedes at a steady pace - within a few minutes, only a creamy collar and filmy layer remain, with not a speck of lace to be seen. Looks good, but there's nothing particularly intriguing on the nose - a little sour, a little fruity, but nothing really leaps out at you. Hints of raspberry and a touch of orange-like citrus, with suggestions of grains and lacto sourness.
An agreeable fruit sour - certainly more approachable than many, with its raspberry-heavy flavour profile and low sourness. I'm getting raspberry juice, wheaty malt, lactic acid and a touch of blood orange, with hints of something akin to grape or red currant. The aftertaste is more berry and light citrus, lingering on the taste buds only briefly before drying out. Light-medium in body, with the carbonation gently agitating the surface of the palate - soft, pretty satisfying mouthfeel, with substantial quaffability.
Final Grade: 3.71, a B grade. Mill Street's Raspberry Blood Orange Sour is hardly an exciting, memorable or unique sour, but it's still a more than serviceable one out of this pseudo-macro operation. Only a little bit sweet, with the sourness being marginally more prominent - this brew is largely driven by its fruit flavours, which is not at all a bad thing if you enjoy them both, as I do. Something I'd consider returning to in the future, and totally worth a try if you like raspberry sours in general.

Hazy bright electric red-pink under a happy pink head, not much by way of lace. Nose is sharp and fruity, dominated by raspberry, but still plenty enough orange. Fruity melange of flavour, but disappointingly more bitter than sour. The bitterness is kind of a letdown against the fruit. Not excessively sweet. Thin bodied and watery.
