473 mL can from the LCBO; coded Apr 29 2022 and served slightly chilled. I'm curious if this is related to their old Lemon Tea Ale, which I haven't seen for a while (and was also brewed with black tea/lemon).

Pours a clear, medium golden-amber colour, capped with nearly two fingers of puffy, foamy white head that lasts for a little over five minutes. A messy swath of webby lace is splattered about in its wake, also leaving behind a tight collar and sudsy cap - looks good so far. I'm mostly getting lemon iced tea on the nose, with hints of wheat and black tea, e.g. orange pekoe or earl grey.

It's pretty good - lemon, black tea, wheaty/bready malts for the most part, resulting in a distinct "lemon iced tea" theme. Very light spiciness on the back end, with lemon zest and light black tea bitterness preceding an iced tea-like aftertaste that lingers momentarily. Light-medium in body, with moderate carbonation and a smooth, soft mouthfeel; highly quaffable.

Final Grade: 3.55, a serviceable B-. The last time I had Mill Street's Lemon Tea Ale must've been, oh, five or six years ago at least? I was never a huge fan, and the same can be said for Tea Time Lemon Wheat, which fills exactly the same niche - i.e. a light iced tea-flavoured summer refresher. If you enjoy Twisted Tea-type beverages then you'll most likely appreciate this, and I'd say anyone who enjoys lemon iced tea should consider giving this a shot.

Pours the colour of iced tea (the same colour as beer). Thick creamy head. Black tea very prevalent on the smell. The taste combines the tea and lemon and at the beginning, it tastes like iced tea. As you drink, the taste gets more and more bitter, kind of like tea settling up in your cup. Still overall a nice unique beer
