473 mL can from the LCBO; coded Jan 16 2025 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a relatively clear golden-yellow colour, producing just over an inch of soapy, frothy white head that sizzles off within two or three minutes, tops. A tight collar and filmy cap remain, with a modest swath of lace draped onto the glass; looks fine so far. Pineapple candy on the nose, with lesser notes of lime, pineapple juice and wheaty malts also coming through; smells quite sugary. Suggestions of herbaceous hops and honeydew.
It's nothing to write home about, but its inauthentic flavours are palatable enough to get the job done. Pineapple flavouring right off the bat, soon joined by notes of pineapple juice, wheaty malts and disappointingly muted hints of lime. Pineapple lasts into the finish, with a flash of lime zest spiciness that doesn't; mild lactic sourness afterwards, with more pineapple flavouring carrying on into the aftertaste. Light-medium in body, with moderately lively carbonation that remains crisp for the duration of the glass. Too sweet to be genuinely refreshing, but its drinkability is OK.
Final Grade: 3.6, a passable B grade. Mill Street is not known for making great fruited sours, and their Pineapple Lime Sour doesn't do anything to rehabilitate that perception. Firstly, the pineapple comes off as quite fake - I understand that they used some actual juice to make this beer, but they also added some flavouring, which is mostly what stood out to me. Secondly, the lime presence is underwhelming: there's some of that lime zest spiciness on the back end, but a little more lime juice acidity would've helped cut through the pineapple sweetness. I doubt I'll drink this again, but if you like pineapple-flavoured sours then I suppose it's worth taking a flyer on.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, from their Block Party Mix Pack from my favourite The Beer Store on Goyeau St. in nearby downtown Windsor. My second beer from the Toronto, ON brewery.
