Our take on a Polish original, Piwo Grodziskie (pronounced pivo grow-JEES-kee-uh). The only truly Polish beer style around, PiwoGrodziskie (Piwo, Polish for beer, Grodziskie referring to the Grätzer region that made the style popular) is a light-bodied, smoked wheat beer.

Served on tap in shaker pint. Pour is lemony yellow in color, hazy, with a thin cap of foam. The smoked wheat really comes through in the aroma, with a smokey, bready nose that's not overpowering. The flavor is not as smokey, with a crisp, slightly peppery/cracker/fruity flavor resting on a smoked sourdough base. Refreshing and easy to down.
