A not too sweet Belgian style wit with a beautiful bouquet of clove phenols and banana esters. Strange since these are associated more with German Hefe's. But good either way. Lightly hazy pale straw. Nice finish that has a nice spicy hops bite to it.

more of a hefe than a witbier in some ways, plenty of banana on it, and a definite absence of the coriander that defines that style so often. my first from these guys, a really nice bunch of people, glad to see some handles around. this was enjoyed at olde towne tavern in littleton. cloudy yellow beer, fantastically heady. it smells nice too, yeasty for sure, but not heavy at all. its lightness is only in the smell, only in the abv, not in the body at all. this is creamy and thick, pushing rich, but still dry, just expansive and pressure building on the palate. some hops in here too, which i think make this beer unique despite being rather simple. a true springtime refresher, i could hammer these outside all day. i have yet to make it over to this spot, but i am more keen than ever after seeing some real brewing ability in this one, although the recipe doesnt necessarily move me, the quality is good.

Light in body, well spiced to create subtle citrus notes. Refreshing.
