Locavore Heisenberg Green Chile Pale Ale
No canned on date.
A - moderate pour produces a 1-1/2 finger white/off-white head. Beer is a hazy gold color. Head dies off in about a minute and leaves spotty lacing. 4
S - slightly sweet from the malt, floral hops, mild green Chile, some slight heat, black pepper. Not a very strong smell. 3.5
T - closely follows the nose. The green Chile is enjoyable and tastes very much like the real thing. It’s not as prevalent and strong as I’d like but nice nonetheless. Sweet malts, no heat, floral hops and a little herbal. 3.75
M - lower carbonation and a little syrupy in the viscosity. Ok. 3
O - a decent Chile beer. I’ve had much better in the style though. Good drinkability - I could put down a few of these easily. 3.5
