Poured from a 750 ml wax-sealed bottle into a snifter.
Look: Very dark brown with a 1/8” tan head that rather quickly reduced to a foam ring with finely-bubbled lacing.
Nose: Prominent though not overwhelming bourbon, dark roast underneath, dark chocolate.
Attack: Follows the nose very closely. The bourbon flavor a bit overbalances/overwhelms what I would hope is the underlying quad fullness.
Finish: Not noticeably different from the attack.
Mouthfeel: Thick — appropriate to style; perhaps a little over-carbonated.
Overall: While not near the top of the heap, this is a respectable entry in the style.

L: Pours a dark brownish read with almost no head or lacing.
S: Sweet Begian candi sugar, notes of cherry and some raisin, a hint of tobacco.
T: Sweet Belgian candi sugar, some toasted bread, a hint of earthy malt, a medium hop bitterness.
F: Large body, smooth carbonation.
O: A fairly average quad.
