On tap at the Surf 'N' Suds Beer Festival held at Carpenteria State Beach in Carpenteria, CA.
Pours a murky orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, earth, spice, yeast, and slight coffee bean and funk aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, spice, yeast, and coffee bean flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a coffee presence that comes through better in the taste to me.
Serving type: on tap.

Different versions: Costa Rican espresso and another with Columbian coffee beans. Both outstanding. Very creative use of a coffee infused Saison.
