This unique blonde ale uses Butter Pecan coffee from Kalamazoo Coffee Company, a custom blend of lighter malts, and a dash of nutmeg to create a highly drinkable brew with a mellow sweetness and nutty notes.

1 PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a brilliant golden color and is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves little lacing.
I get a light coffee and cream aroma.
Nice coffee flavor
Thin bodied with a watery mouthfeel
Easy drinking coffee blonde.

The taste of coffee bean is overwhelming. Although they market it as a butter pecan coffee blonde, there is no hint of the actual butter pecan flavor past the first sip. Once you get past that, it is overwhelmingly a coffee beer. That doesn’t necessarily make it bad. However, it is overwhelmingly like drinking Starbucks and Budweiser simultaneously.

Pours totally clear. Scent is blonde ale first, hint of coffee, taste follows. Not bad but I prefer coffee cream ales.

Pours an effervescent gold with a pinky of eggshell colored head. Some head retention & lacing
S: Coffee & vanilla, good nose
T: Follows the nose, fairly rich coffee, vanilla & even a little butterscotch, plus some dryness up front. Dryness, vanilla sweetness & coffee as this beer warms up, a little woody hop bitterness as well. Dry sweet finish with mocha flavors
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, skews a little sweet as intended I'm guessing
Never going to be wild about Blonde Coffee Ales, but this one is drinkable enough

16 oz can from Horrocks in Ohio ($2.99).
This coffee blonde ale carries an exceptionally nutty flavor and aroma. A clean coffee note is found in the flavor rather than the aroma. This has a very good balance of flavors, assuming you like coffee. It's bold for the style due to the coffee and, I suspect, the base blond ale.
Overall. Recommended.

I haven't yet found a beer like this. And I will be disappointed when I get back to Illinois and can't find one. This beer has a great combination of a blonde ale mixed with coffee notes. It has a smooth taste similar to a nitro pour. I'm a big nitro coffee cold brew fan, so this is right up my alley.
