Poured into a pint at the brewery. Darker amber color than one might expect from a saison. No head to speak of but some sticky lacing. The smell begins with some citrus and floral notes but underneath is an off putt I ng note I can't place. No real funkiest to speak of. The flavor just doesn't quite do it for me. It starts with some grapefruit hints but quickly gives way to an acidic bitterness that is offputting. The mouthful is correct for type, if a bit on the acidic side. I wanted to like this more, but it just missed the mark for me.

Had this at the brewery the first time but was unable to review it. Had a second time at Rustic Goat in ANC. Pours nice gold color with small white head. Smell was citrus and slight yeast. Taste was that of grass, citrus and a bit of something sweet maybe pear as noted in other reviews. Finish was clean and ease. Very good!
