lots of fruit in this, a very natural and very robust raspberry profile, real nice beer, a lot more fruit than the blackberry ipa to me, tangy and sweet both, authentic no doubt, i liked this a lot. pink stained, hazy as expected for a wheat, maybe slightly muted looking, short lived head but tons of carbonation. the nose on this is fruit first, but the earthy pale wheat is there too, the ferment is not a factor, and neither are any hops. lemony and tangy, some berry pie character too, but nothing too sweet or overdone, good proportions, approaching mouthwatering. the fruit is immediately real, juicy and ripe and instantly summery to me, enough malt for it to stay beery, but not a lot of residual grain sugar which allows it to drink a bit lighter than it looks. the fruit flavor is awesome, the wheat fluffs up the feel, the carbonation is good, and the overall flavor profile beats the overall quality, this could be cleaned up a bit, but no denying it tastes awesome and the raspberry is more genuine in this than in a million others trying to do the same thing, and i appreciate that. these guys are making some tasty beers and flying under the radar with them...

The appearance of the beer instantly let you know that it was a rasberry. It had a cloudy rosy pink hue with very little head. The smell and taste was very intense with fresh rasberries. I was impressed with the freshness, like eating rasberries from the farmers market. It was very balanced, and not too acidic. It reminded me of a good rasberry lambic. Mouthfeel was thin and little watery, but I consider this beer very drinkable...especially in the summertime.
