The Chief from Old Firehouse is GOOOOOD. I'm trying it at the smoke house in Columbus. It poured an opaque black with off white head that is leaving a lace. The scent is vanilla extract and maybe some milk chocolate. The taste is a malt ball like sensation....thinking Whoppers. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall this is a very nice beer and we'll worth a try.

This fine porter from Jungle Jim's in a growler pours a muddy blackish brown with a touch of light coming through on the edges with a nice head of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring, nice thin layer, and excellent lacing. Nose of vanilla bean and sweet roasted malts. Flavors exceed by balance and form with moderately roasted malt notes laced with vanilla on all sides with a touch of cream. Cola notes hit in the middle and finish with a roasted light char note on the rear with balanced vanilla. BALANCE BALANCE BALANCE. This hit's all the right markers of an excellent vanilla porter. Good mouth feel, creamy, smooth, coating, and excellent.

A fantastic brew from a newer up and coming brewery.

Cheers!
