April 11th, 2016 - This is one of those beers that looks generic and nonplussed on the outside, but has a delicious, "masculine" flavor profile within, featuring cherry, leather, tobacco and brown sugar. It's a shame that the body is so thin. A denser mouthfeel would have fit this flavor profile much more appropriately, but in its absence this is still an enjoyable brew.

On tap, poured into red solo cup at a summer jam in Hyattsville. Not much head.
Looks chestnut brown, lots of flavor, pleasantly nutty. More malty than hoppy. Feels a little flat, not much carbonation - not sure if that's just the style or what. Overall, glad I had a chance to try it and would get it again.

On tap at Glen's Garden Gaggle Market.
Pours a dark ruby/mahogany with a creamy light tan head that fades to a thick collar. Exceeds your stock American Brown ale but is still a brown ale. If I were so inclined to arbitrarily drink brown ales on a fall day this would go beyond my expectations. Toasty and trace spice, light yeast, some dark fruit, rich and easy drinking. Soft, full bodied and an easy finish.

On tap at Meridian Pint in DC
Very good ruby color and nice lacing
Well balanced malt flavor with only a hint of hops. Pleasant but not outstanding. No Belgian yeast taste.
As with the other beers from Handsome, mouthfeel is a bit light.
Overall better than average but not great.
