The name translates to "whole wheat bread" Kvass. BBD etched on the bottle: 31-03-2014.
Two fingers of fizzy tan foam, longer lasting than most, for a few minutes at least. Dark brown color, slightly reddish in the light, not especially bright.
Smells like cooked toasted grains, and sweet raisins.
Taste is toasty, a little raisin, wheat bread. Fizzy with a light acidity present, not more than your average cola. A little bit of seltzer water, aftertaste of toast. Overall it's pretty average, at least it doesn't taste like a tootsie roll soda (like many commercial Kvass'), more on the raisins and toast end of the spectrum.
