I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had grain and hints of lactose. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain and slight peppery flavor. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

The Second Salem website indicates a 4.4 ABV and at the brewery it was 4.3 ABV. I really enjoyed this session beer. It had a nice malty backbone, was easy drinking, but had a decent amount of depth and character for the alcohol
