On tap at Columbia City Ale House, into a nonic. They list this beer as "Spinnaker Bay Scotch Ale" and 8% ABV. Not quite identical to the way that the existing BA listing is done, but close enough that I won't add a new Scotch Ale.
Appearance is a deep amber red. Small head dissipates quickly, leaving a bit of lacing.
Aroma is mild and sweet.
The taste is very caramel, but not a lot else. Maybe some raisins. I doubt that any hops were harmed in the making of this beer. The ABV is not noticeable.
Overall, this seems like a Scotch Ale that is pretty true to style. It seems well executed but not terribly interesting.
