Poured from a growler. Very thin dark brown that shows bronze in the light; thin fluffy head. Not too much on the nose. Taste is roasty with faint chocolate and cherry. Second day pour was a lot smokier to me. Very thin body that makes this one you can suck down without a problem, but probably doesn't support the taste.

Black draft pour with ruby see through when held to light; light white foam. Sweet malt nose. Cherries and roasted chocolate malt. Medium lite mouthfeel. Overall a pleasing porter with a toasty stone fruit finish.

Not one to champion "drink local" but this truly is an enjoyable porter that I could drink many of.
