Spotty lace from the moderate head. Cloudy amber color.
No heat to the smell. It's like a classic amber/red beer to the nose.
The taste is closer to a winter warmer than a chili beer. I get no heat but I do get plenty of cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg. Full bodied with muted carbonation. I find this to be a pleasant surprise because the beer is complex and yet not extreme.
