1 PINT can
Served in a tulip glass
This beer pours amber with golden highlights and has a slight haze. It is topped with less than an inch of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
The honey is noticeable in the aroma. It is complimented by citrus and some floral notes. The basil comes out as it warms.
The sweetness of the honey leads the flavor. I get some citrus through the middle followed closely by the basil. The finish is clean.
Medium mouthfeel and body
The honey and basil add a nice twist to a clean, well made pale ale. While it gets lost in a world of hazy ipas, this is a fine beverage to quaff.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from draft at The Vine on July 28, 2018. This beer brings a soft malt flavor and the aroma of Wisconsin clover honey. Has a subtle minty and peppery flavor from Thai Holy Basil.

No canning date. Got about a month and a half ago from someone from Sketchbook. A Pale Ale brewed w/ Honey & Basil.
Look: The beer is golden-copper. Good clarity, head retention and lacing. Slightly off-white head.
Smell: The basil is there in good balance. I was told by their brewer that Basil has a good level of Myrcene in it, which is one of the many essential oils in hops. It works well in this beer, especially in the aroma. Slight bit of caramel malt to back it. The nose is pleasant.
Taste: The flavor of the beer is a nice blend of floral hops, malt and herb. The basil lingers nicely. Not overwhelmingly herbal at all. A slight bite as it finishes, either from the bitterness of the hops/herbs or carbonic bite. Well done.
Overall: I like this beer, and it is definitely well done. The amount of basil they're using and the process they use to incorporate it is spot on. It's noticeable, but not overwhelming. Seamlessly integrated with the hops.

Poured from a can, no date but it has a red dot on the bottom. Pours a clear orange with on off white head, just a hint if lacing. Honey dominates the nose a hint at herb, basil I would guess. Light, sweet flavor, very drinkable. Medium body, nicely carbonated. Solid offering from Sketchbook out of Evanston, Illinois.

Pale ale brewed with Honey and Basil. 16oz can. Nice smooth pale ale. Definitely on the sweeter side from the honey. Very drinkable. Medium carbonation and mouth feel. If you like mild not too hoppy pale ales this is for you. I think I’d like this even better in warmer weather. This brewery has really picked up their game. Everything I’ve tried in the new cans has been very good and well worth seeking out.
