Aged in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels for seven months.

16 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 9/14/17, had 10/16/17.
Pours an opaque, dark brown, a little oily looking, with a quarter inch head and some loose lacing. Aromas of medium roast malt, vanilla, bourbon- more as it warms, chocolate, raisins, some toffee, light oak and molasses. The taste is mostly similar- malt, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon- again, more as it warms, caramel, raisins, light oak and fudge, a hint of licorice, a light bitterness on the finish. Smooth, somewhat creamy, a good medium to full body, well carbonated.
Also had this on tap, the can is far more bourbon forward. The Buffalo Trace barrels really shine here. Well balanced and very enjoyable.
