Served in a pokal glass
This beer pours a beautiful, deep tea color with ruby highlights and is crystal clear. It is topped with several inches of pinkish head that leaves spotty lacing.
It has a tart berry flavor. The elderberry reminds me of raspberry or black currents. it smells briny as well.
It has juicy berry flavor. Then the tart, acidic flavor compliments the berry. The finish is tart and salty.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
This is a very enjoyable beer. The berry, tart, and salty aspects compliment each other perfectly. This is a very well made beer. I could drink the feces out of it.
