16 oz can, date smudged, into a nonic pint glass.
L: Pours a hazy deep orange gold color with a 1/4" crunchy & rocky off white head that has very good retention and slowly recedes to froth, low carbo, medium-heavy complex lacing, a few spots of sediment at the base of the glass.
S: Lightly fruity, a hint of hard candy. Not too expressive but pleasant.
T: Orange, grapefruit, stone fruit, light herbal dankness, a touch of resin & zest, slightly grassy, tangy and a bit tart but not overly so, fairly full-flavored, a distant note of pastry dough.
F: Brisk then moderately juicy with a medium bodied mouthfeel and a medium-long moderately drying finish that has fine grit. It retains a brisk feel to the final sip.
O: Very tasty with deep citrus and stone fruit notes. It is essentially hop forward, fruity, and finishes pretty dry. No clashing or extreme tastes. Just plain great. It is excellent in its style.
