This was a weird take on the Scottish style because it was loaded with yummy hops and smelled like apricots . The colour was a hazy orange that actually was appealing. I had to ask twice if this was the Scottish ale as the hops seemed so dominant and fresh ( like a harvest ale). I could taste the malt alright but I can't really call this a Scottish ale. That being said I really liked this beer with its fruity hoppy flavour and lovely nose.
