L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown / black color and an opaque consistency. There was an inch of creamy, tan-colored, long-lasting head. Not much lacing, though.
S: A nice aroma of coffee, vanilla, roasted malt, and maple syrup.
T: Tasted of a good amount of roasted malt, light maple syrup notes, cinnamon, a lot of coffee, some hints of hops (not too much, though), a tinge of vanilla, and a bit of chocolate. An incredibly impressive flavor that's complex and easy to drink. The cinnamon is a good addition.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a lively finish. Full-bodied.
O: Another well-made beer from The Answer. Quite tasty and drinkable.

Poured on tap at the brewpub in a snifter, the beer is jet black and oily thick, with no head. Aromas of bitter roasted coffee, toasted grains, and darkly sweet maple syrup. Flavors are sugary sweet and char forward, almost like a cigar dipped in raw maple syrup. Wow! Good backbone of milk chocolate and subtle earthy highlights. Smooth and creamy bodied, with a char, coffee, and maple sugar aftertaste. Smooth, slow, creamy finish, with a char and coffee linger. Very unique, layered, creamy stout.

Imperial coffee stout with vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup. Tastes like you're eating French toast with maple syrup. Has an extremely strong roast/char character (more than their other coffee stouts).
