L: Had this beer on-tap The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a medium red color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, off white, somewhat long-lasting head. Below average lacing (kind of pulpy).

S: A sweet and alluring aroma of raspberries (duh), salt, and citrus fruit.

T: Tasted of a tiny bit of malt (fleetingly noticeable), a good shot of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), a whole lot of raspberries, and a bit of salt. The raspberries definitely take center stage, but that's a good thing. It's a tart / sour flavor, but it never overpowers your palate. Quite delicious.

F: An average amount of carbonation with a smoothie-like finish. Thick stuff. Medium-bodied.

O: An incredibly enjoyable beer. Very much drinkable.

On tap at brewpub:
Ok, this is a weird one. It's a super thick (relatively) sour fruit beer. I am sure the brewer is aiming for this, but where does it fit in the beer world?

Looks like a raspberry slushy, fruit purée with a soap-water head that doesn't last. "Lacing," as it were, is fruit pulp.

Nose is wonderfully raspberry with a little extra sour aspect. The taste increases that sour a tad, and the fruit comes through nicely. I'm not really getting any malt and maybe just a little salt in the end.

Feel is, thick and chunky, though there's an interesting lightly fizzy carbonation tat makes me think of a fountain drink.

I enjoyed this beverage, though I'm thinking of this as more of a unique fruit beer, and not too close to a classic Gose.
