L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a light orange color and a super cloudy consistency. There was a small amount of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Not a whole lot of lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of citrus fruit, vanilla, stonefruit, sea salt, malt, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a tinge of malt (not overly much), a good amount of vanilla (more than expected), some stonefruit (the advertised lychee), a little sea salt, and lots of citrus (orange). A sweet and vibrant flavor. Didn't know what to expect from the lychee, but it blends well with everything else. Tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Light-bodied.
O: An interesting and well made beer. Worth a try.

The Answer Brewpub "Lychee Creamsicle"
$4.50 / 5 oz. at the brewery on 17 June 2017
Note: 3.5% ABV. Gose with Lychee and Mandarin orange.
Appearance: Looks like one of those cans of frozen juice that you use to make tropical frozen drinks with it only partially diluted in water. Cloudy and pale orange beneath a thin collar of white.
Smell: Orange. Perhaps a touch of additional tropical fruit.
Taste: The lychee is clear in the flavor, and the orange remains. It's got a slight tartness to it but it's actually a bit sweet as well so it's balanced. Very fruity.
Feel: The mouthfeel is like orange juice with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation. It's lighter in body than their Stonefruit Popsicle but not by much.
Overall: Well, another great dessert beer from The Answer, but using the term "gose" is is just completely wrong here. It's so inaccurate. But I understand it, the term has already sullied and stretched so far beyond recognition so why not use it?
