Dark brown, shy of black, with a bit of an oil slick to it, and no head.
I actually think I get the unique, waxy, savory but mild macadamia, especially on the nose. In taste, this is countered by a punchy booze and a softened coconut.
It's pretty tasty, but I get no coffee--it'd probably be closer to a 4.75 if that were able to be more present without dominating.

The beer pours a bubbly dark brown head while the beer itself is a dark chocolate black with a thick look looking texture.
The smell and taste contain the same notes even though they are sweeter in the smell than in the taste. The main notes are a strong coconut and macadamia nut mixed together to where they are difficult to distinguish between the two. Sweeter notes such as hazelnut cuts through while the Jamaican Blue adds a welcome mildly bitter note to a very sweet beer. The chocolate comes out more in the smell while the coffee is stronger in the taste.
The feel has a heavy body with a creamy texture to it.

L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a snifter glass. Had a jet black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a small amount of creamy, tan-colored head that quickly dissipated. Very good lacing.
S: A big aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, and coconut.
T: Tasted of a tinge of chocolate, a whole lot of coffee (not too much, though), some hazelnuts, a hint of vanilla, a good amount of coconut, roasted malt, and macadamia to top it off. A complex and extremely likable flavor. It's aggressive (in a good way), and also balanced. Very flavorful.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a super smooth finish. Full-bodied.
O: Yet again, The Answer delivers with another great stout. Well worth a look.
