On draught at the brewpub, served in a nonic pint, Aerostar is gold with a small white collar.

Smell is herbal hops, light tropical fruit esters and a little clove.

Taste is on the pedestrian side, with waxy phenols, spicey esters and herbal hops providing the main flavor components.

Mouthfeel is dry, slippery, medium-light bodied.

Drinkability is fine, no flaws, just fairly generic Belgian-style blonde.

Light copper, with little to no head. Smells light with malt and a slight bit of earth. Taste is a lot more straight forward. More of a funky yellow cheese kind of mild flavor. Bitey at first, but mellows. Finishes off with a tangy lemon grassy note and a long, slightly cloyingly sweet maltiness. It's good, but nothing life changing. Overall a little heavy on the hops for a saison.
