Growler from the brewery filled today.
Pours a silky opaque black, with a thin tan head.
Smell and taste are nice, lots of black roasted malt, coffee, char smoke and a bit of bittersweet dark chocolate. Firm bitterness with earthy hops.
Smooth feel, medium full body. Lingering dry astringent finish.
Overall a very nice offering! Glad I could get some.
