this was the other beer here that was sort of messed up, fashioned as a wheat ipa, it doesnt really work that way. sure there are a lot of hops in here, both citruy and quite bitter, but it tastes to me a lot like cleaner. almost like a belgian yeast strain done way too hot or something, but its not that, its very much a sanitizer or chemical sort of flavor, right there in the center of this and riding through the finish. its a shame because otherwise there are some good features here. the wheat malt proportion of the grain bill must be high, there is a lot of body and wheat flavor to this, and its a nice platform for the sturdy hop dose, silky smoothness also comes from that wheat. one of the lighter beers that they had too, at least in terms of abv, and thats nice in the heat, a more drinkable brew. that chemical zizzle in the center though is a problem, maybe some product of the yeast getting out of control or maybe they didnt have the line cleaned properly, but for me it was hard to overlook this. potential is there though with this recipe...

Miles away from a typical wheat, but still noticeable. Very hoppy for a wheat, but not overboard. Just a well rounded and excellent beer. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I'm not a big wheat fan, but this is definitely more on the IPA side. I'd generally avoid this, but it was suggested to me and I was super impressed. Wheat fan or IPA fan, either way you'll like this one!

This is overall, an ok wheat pale ale. Thin, with acceptable hop charecter, good clarity, and probably appealing to those members of the 65+ age category. Boring, but tasty

Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow color with white head. Very faint citrus and wheat grass on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied, could use a little boost. Just bland.
