But expect to be greeted by a surprising smoothness and a composed presence of tropical and citrus humulus lupulus. Only spotted in Texas, this IPA is our celebration of the most flavorful American grown hops.

Pint glass pour at the OMNI in Dallas.
Slightly cloudy, pale gold colored body. Simple white head becomes a partial cap and ring. Leaves behind some lacing rings.
Faint aroma of toasted malt and citrus hops.
Taste is mostly orange and grapefruit flesh and pith/rind. Also pine resin and a toasted malt base. Medium bitterness lingers after the juice is gone.
Medium mouthfeel. Definite tongue numbing. Good carbonation.
Straight expression of citrus pith and pine.

Surprisingly good. Despite having an 8 month born on date, when cracked it had the aroma of walking into an ultra hoppy brewery.

Poured from a can into a tall fluted glass. Clear yellow with a decent white head and lacing. Piney smell and taste. A bit of citrus and a nice finishing bitterness. Overall, not bad, not great.

Not a great beer. Without a doubt there is an overwhelming taste of soap, lifebouy soap to be exact. :) Has an odd nose and taste that I cannot get past.
