Poured into a sniffer from tap, minimal head, no head or lacing. Amberish in the glass, not hazy, but opaque. Smells of bourbon straight up, vanilla and little else. Taste is bourbon forward, clean sweet malt, slight hint of vanilla, slight amount of alcohol heat. Mouthfeel is good. Honestly enjoyed the plain non ba way more, bourbon has completely dominated and taken over this beer. Gone is the subtle coffee notes playing off of the vanilla. This straight up reminds me of DKML from founders, with a more complex malt bill
