Nice aroma. I drank it from the can so no color for you. Big citrus start , big pine flavor in the middle and light tropical fruit finish. easy drinking pale ale. Nice and refreshing.

I read the preceding reviews and I wonder if I'm drinking the same beer? 32oz crowler into a nonic. L: Color of a dirty penny, very slight haze, a small, loose head that fades quickly leaving a ton of super sticky lacing. S: Massively floral, more than any beer I've ever smelled before, a little tropical fruit, a little sweet cracker. T: Grapefruit pith and burnt caramel. Big bread malt. OK, I get the smoke thing, but it's tasty - bitterness and burnt-something linger on the palate - nicely, IMO. F: Smooth and creamy, perfect amount of carbonation, easy drinking O: Nicely balanced: malt, hops, sweet, bitter. That big can went down mighty easy. Fortunately, I had the foresight to pick up another.

Similar problems to the crowlers of khaos I recently had. The interesting Blueberry and citrus hop flavors are muted by this vegetal smokiness that while not overwhelming, is certainly distracting. Clean it up and a very good beer is there.

Poured from a Crowler straight from the brewery.
Pours a slightly hazy, light orange color with a very nice, 2-finger white head. There is some great lacing around the glass as well.
The smell is very sweet and bready, with some light touches of citrus and pine.
The taste is lightly sweet with notes of orange, grapefruit, and tangerine, as well as some pine. The cracker malt character is quite pronounced as well, making this is a rather balanced IPA.
This is a medium-bodied beer with a good amount of carbonation and a light alcohol burn on the back end.
Overall, a very good, well-balanced IPA. Not too bitter, not too sweet, and the malt character is quite pleasant.

Crowler from Drinkery Derry.
Pours a hazy tang color with a smallish bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Big citrus with some bitter pith, pine and a touch of tropical fruit. Light bready toasty maltiness provides some balance. Great easy drinking ipa, a bit toasty but I liked it.
