Crowler from Bert's This is the Citra and Vic Secret version, might need a separate entry as the hops in this beer change
Hazy pale orange color with a decent but short lived head. Huge citrus and pineapple with plenty of resinous pine and hints of earth. Light sweet fruity malty flavor. That's a pretty damn good beer right there.

From the crowler. Sampled on Nov 11, 2015.

It pours a hazy light amber=yellow color with a lingering white foamy head.

Good Grassy and pine hop aroma. Some toasted malts. But the hops prevail.

The body is basically medium.

The taste has an abundance of toasted biscuit malts and floral and grassy hoe. The hops prevail in the end.

Poured from a 32 oz Crowler filled at the brewery.

Pours a deep, murky golden orange color with an extremely thin white head. The head is gone almost immediately and leaves almost no lacing around the glass.

The aroma though....damn. Smells like a fresh orange grove. So much citrus and pine on the nose, with some notes of the sweet, bready malt on the back end.

The taste is very citrus-forward, with notes of orange rind and mango, with the slightest hint of grapefruit. The cracker malt character is also very present and gives some decent balance to this beer.

The feel is medium-light bodied with light carbonation. A bit on the oily side and very dry and bitter on the end of each sip.

Overall, a pretty good pale ale. It's pretty well balanced and has a lot of nice citrus flavors throughout. The body is a bit lacking though and I was disappointed in the lack of head. But aren't we all?
